Guess what? No really- guess!
Nevermind. I'll tell you. Spare us the trouble.
Today, I actually read that dumb itunes email that I get a few times a week- the one that details when "Artist I don't like" and "Artist who can't sing"'s albums are coming out, etc. I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED. Guess who has an album coming out May 1st? Tori Amos! Guess who also has a new album being released soon? The Arctic Monkeys! THIS IS PLEASING. VERY PLEASING INDEED.
Oh, and I found out today that I am required to go to some school function on May 4th. Pity that is the date of the Spiderman 3 premiere (They switched it from the 25th). Guess the teachers at my school will be all mad when I skip. I'll try to be convincingly sick for them earlier in the day- wouldn't want punishment for them trying to ruin a big day and all. Evil teachers. Scratch that, evil school. And homework sucks.
BUT WANT TO KNOW WHAT MADE ME REALLY HAPPY? IN THE SPACE OF A WEEK, SAID WEEK BEING A FEW WEEKS FROM NOW, "THIRD EYE BLIND", "FIVE FOR FIGHTING" AND "ARCTIC MONKEYS" ARE ALL PLAYING AT MY FAVORITE CLUB, THE 9:30 CLUB. This completely makes up for the fact that I missed the Matt Kearney concert last night- well, it makes up for the fact that I missed "The Feeling" opening for him. I <3 "The Feeling", don't really care abou Kearney.
