Hockey Rinks and Drive By Rabbiting

*Must be your skin I'm sinking in
must be for real cuz now I can feel
and I didn't mind
it's not my kind
not my time to wonder why
everything's gone white
and everything's gray
now you're here now you're away
I don't want this
remember that
I'll never forget where you're at
don't let the days go by*

Well, this weekend was fun. To sum up this this week since the last time I wrote anything was blah. Even though I was still sick, I went to school on Thursday... not for long though. Katie and I skipped the afternoon and hit up to Souris because we're really cool. Who did we meet in our first half-second in Souris but my uncle Travis, the my cousin Calvin, and THEN my other uncle Bradley. That sure was fun. Then Katie saw her aunt and grandfather. We have really good luck when it comes to stuff like that.

Friday I didn't go to school, because I started throwing up and didn't stop til two in the afternoon. Yummy, eh? I still have whatever I've been sick with for the last week but I finally gave up on it from keeping me in the house. So Friday night I went to the movies! Don't worry, it wasn't by myself. That would be sad. Katie, Alister, Ryan and myself went to Cursed. It was half decent. I liked it actually. Then after the movie we cruised around town for a little bit but I headed home early. The night catched up on me and I was starting to feel shitty again.

Saturday was a feeling-not-so-sick-day so when I woke up I didn't feel like I was dying... which was pleasant. At noonish I went to the tanning beds, I got one of those packages for a Christmas present so I decided I better start using them. It's a nice little place in the Shops of St. Avards. Kennedy's Kreation. When you walk in there's all these little stick girls with bad lip-liner, but they ARE nice and do the whole useless chitchat, so it was nice.

So after that I was just bumming around the house until Alister and Jeff graced the house with their presence. Catherine was being a shitty host haha, so we just hung around and watched Hercules. One of my favorite cartoons, because I'm a big nerd. I don't care, it's a classic. I WAS going to watch Fern Gully, but Courtney couldn't find it. Oh dear God, I AM a nerd.

So then me and Katie went out to Souris for the hockey game, which they won 4-1 Congrats! It was a funny game, seemed like all the players were falling down and mesing up, it was sooo funny. This little kid kept running up and down the seats, he was so cute. It was like he was their mascot.

After the game we went to the Shell to talk to Anthony and Cody. My sickness was catching up to me again so I went with Cody to his house for Tyenol. I convinced him to skip the shower and just take an Italian Shower ( just bathe in cologne) because since he and Anthony wanted to drink the time issue was a factor. So we just drove around, until Anthony came up with this "awesome" plan to go to the dumpster of Robin's Donuts and get all the robin's eggs and throw them at things/people/cars. His plan was soon foiled when he realized that the compost is a horrible mixture of coffee grounds and unnameable crap they just throw in there. Good one, Anthony. The night went on, just driving around and having a little plastic stick fit. There's not really another way to explain that, so for those of you that wasn't there, sorry, but it was fun.

So anyways, me and Katie headed home, and on the way there we saw a cop car pulled over to the side of the road facing the oppostie way we were going. We were in no way speeding, infact, we were going 10 clicks under the limit, and we both had our seatbelts over. As we see him do a U-turn we started getting weirded out. We kept saying over and over again, "he better not pull us over, we're not doing anything wrong. We can't be getting pulled over."

And then we saw the lights flashing. What - the- hell?

We pulled over and Katie pulled down the window. The Police Officer ducked his head in the window, a flashlight in hand.
"Uggghh... hello?" - Katie
"I'm looking for two people... and you're not them." - Cop

Riiiiigggghhht.

On we go, driving along... and then we hit a rabbit. More like the rabbit hit us. I think whenever an animal or anything for that matter, hits you side on... it should be THEIR fault. So rabbit, me and Katie have decided. We're suing your ass. I'm sure there's a 1-800 number out there somewhere for bunny attacks.

So here I am now, Sunday night, waiting for AFV to come on soon. It's fun laughing at the expense of others. And thats that. That's it, fini. Peace out.

*I'm never alone
I'm alone all the time
are you at one
or do you lie
we live in a wheel
where everyone steals
but when we rise it's like strawberry fields

if I treated you bad
you bruise my face
couldn't love you more
you got a beautiful taste
don't let the days go by
could have been easier on you
I couldn't change though I wanted to
could have been easier by three
our old friend fear and you and me
glycerine
don't let the days go by
glycerine

I needed you more
when we wanted us less
I could not kiss just regress
it might just be
clear simple and plain
that's just fine
that's just one of my names
don't let the days go by
could've been easier on you
glycerine*
