Ok, so this Tutorial is set just above BEGINNER. So you have to have the basic skills. This tutorial will or not work depending on your image, but it seems like it will work best with only promotional images, but then again I have only tried it with Promo images so I could be proven wrong. I use Photo 5.5 and I'd like to see what you come up with :)
Step one I started with this started with this base, I was annoyed with the fact it was like 0.1% blurred slightly so I tried sharpening it but it sharpened to much so I just left it, you do that to.
Step two Duplicate layer and sharpen it and set it to overlay.
Step three Go back to the base and duplicate it again now set this layer to desaturate and then to darken.
Step four Now once again go down to the base and duplicate it once again then bring it to the top and set it on Darken. Now, isn't the skin nice and soft and lovely? Well, I think so. Now flatten.
Step five Ok, now it's texture time. Use this texture by
colorfilter and set it on lighten at 100%
Step six So it now looks like this
Step 7 Then select this amount to cut out, now see I didn't select the whole image.
Step 8 Ok, now follow these steps [Select] - [Modify] - [Smooth] and set it at 6 pixels.
Step 9 The next step is the copy, create a new file and paste.
