A "Mini-Bush" for Canada
Well, we went and did it! My fellow Canadians elected Stephen Harper as our new Prime Minister. Now we really will be the 51st state. The upside is that he will lead a minority government, which means the opposition parties wiil have quite a lot of power to rein in his right-wing tendencies. But it's going to be a struggle to hang on to universal health-care; and you can bet that when the U.S. marches off on another war, Canadians will be goose-stepping right along. Oh, and you'd better hide the bongs, boys, and swallow the roaches.
