I applied to the DEM position I wanted way back in March and they kept telling me that they wouldn't get back to people until mid to late May. While it was a job I really wanted (because it paid more than anything else I've applied for so far and there is research involved), I'd rather start work in May than at a later date. So today while I was waiting for my interview at Mystic Aquarium, I decided I'd accept the job if it was offered so I'd have something secured because DEM was still up in the air and they wouldn't be contacting me for another two weeks anyway. Needless to say, I got the Exhibit Interpreter position and accepted it on the spot. Yay! Rochelle has income now! As irony would have it, I went from having 0 jobs this morning to then having two offers in one day. I recieved a phone call from DEM this afternoon to set up an interview. Yes, mere HOURS after I'd already accepted the Aquarium position. Such is life.

In other news, finals are over. I'm hanging out all weekend in Boston with awesome people, partying. And I get to go on vacation on Monday. JOY!
