I am afraid to move back to Rhode Island. After nearly two years straight of living in Boston, the idea of being in RI permenantly terrifies me. I'm not sure why. Maybe it's too familiar and brings back annoying memories; maybe I'm worried about losing the element of freedom I feel I have here. I don't know. I haven't been at home for longer than a week straight since... um... August 2006. I know (consciously) it's only a 4-month move. And I also know I'll be visiting Boston as much as I can. Still, I feel that moving all my shit back home is regressive as opposed to transgressive. Spring is just starting in this city. I loved it last year. I just don't want to miss it.
Home in 2 days.
Interview at the Aquarium in 3 days.
Edit: Perhaps now seeing Dropkick Murphys in 3 days as well??
Back to Boston with Mark in 4 days.
Savannah in 7 days.
