It doesn't have to be good,
it just has to be.
Existence always comes first
good is an afterthought.
When the world was created in 6 days,
God knew it didn't have to be good.
That's why He created man and dinosaur
together
and slept it off
knowing good would come around when it was ready.
-We're still waiting I suppose.-
But my blank pages have been crying out
for substance. Mixing words and thoughts and love
cake batter, without flour.
and I've got 2,000 years to see
I suppose
what will rise
and who will fall
in the interminable struggle
of a billion subconscious ethers
waiting for the good.
