a bittersweet symphony
life truly is bittersweet... so it's been a whole 24 hours since i got back here to Michigan... and i'm still not recovered from everything. it's kinda like a dream... i can't believe i was actually in california from saturday till thursday and i finally got to meet all those awesome people i've "known" for so long. so here's a little playback of my amazing trip.
saturday i leave the house bright and frickin early and fly out to dallas. i hung out there for an hour and flew on to oakland. thats when the fun began =) lorno and lola met me at the baggage claim and we hugged and were happy, and it was good. and alison (lorno's hella cool sister) and their mom, margaret, finally found us. we drove past the place of awesomeness where the Raider's play... or where they don't play, depending on the game... then we got back home to lornos. oh man it was all so awesome. its so beautiful out there... all the landscape is absolutely amazing and you just have to see it to understand why i'm so damn in love with the place. so then we went to pick up elena and i met her dog... and he met my leg. silly horny dog. much happiness was had by the group of us. then, we went to see the wonderful ms. alli price at coldstone where she works. mind you, she had noooo idea i was there. she was quite surprised by the fact a customer was supposed to be living 3000 miles away and stopped in to give her tea and order some ice cream. haha i <3 that girl. so we all headed back to lornos where alli joined us after work and also andrew, elena's boy, joined us. i was so happy to see them all. i was pretty much in shock that whole day. we all piled into lorno's bed and it was nice and warm haha. they also gave alli and me some alone time to talk. i was also given a very special key ;) we all went back to my hotel to hang out for a short while and alli and i were given more talking time, then they all had to leave. good day. sunday and monday got blurred together due to shock and extreme happiness. and alli. she confuses me in a very good way. but it consisted of bowling, hanging at lorno's and much piling on her bed, shopping a little, amazing gelato, hanging out at my hotel, and much happiness. tuesday i went into SF with lorno and alli. it left me speechless. i like it better than NY even... hands down. then much more hanging out and cuddling. yay! wednesday was shopping in berkley with the laurens... very good times... then alone time with someone special ;) and then amazing dinner and a gift exchange. thank you lola and lorno for my stickers and shirt!! and alli thank you lots for the snowglobe and ring. i'll wear it really close to my heart every day =) alli surprised me the next morning before the airport, and that was a sad day.
in summary, thank you so much to lorno, margaret, alison, lola, elena, andrew, eric, and especially alli. i love you all and i can't wait to get back out there!
