Holiday Wishes Community: Where the Spirit of Giving is Truly Inspiring :)

I recently joined a community called holiday_wishes and I must say I love being a member! :) Basically, you post your holiday wish list (your top 10 things that you want for Christmas gifts) and people respond! :) So far, there are three people who are going to send me something in the mail. Thank you so much for responding. :) I found this comment to be very hopeful and inspiring. :) I sent my responses to your questions as a letter along with your package to you--it should be arriving soon, so keep an eye open for it. :)

I feel the exact same way about meeting people while attending college and joining LiveJournal. I have met so many interesting people and have made new friends by doing both. Had I not joined this online community or gone to college, I don't think I would have met my wonderful friends (both online and off). :) I'm sure the people who you give cookies too really appreciate it. It's wonderful that you honor them in that way. <3

I am also inspired by my friends, so I can relate to that. I am especially touched by the number of people who have responded to my holiday_wishes post and have wanted to send me a gift. It's very inspiring to know that strangers want to send you gifts. <3 ( ... )
