Hanging Out

Today was fun, especially since I got out of my room and had some time off from my busy schedule.  I went to our Homecoming Coronation ceremony and saw my best friend on campus get on stage with all the other candidates.  Unfortunately, she didn't win, but I at least voted for her for Homecoming Queen. I swear I've turned into some kind of recluse.  We're all so busy now that we barely have time to see each other.  It's very lonely having a private room, but it's a privilege at the same time.  It is so much more quiet in this dorm because there are mainly upperclassmen living here. I love it!  I have my own bathroom and everything.  It's more modern than the dorm I was in last year.  I can actually focus on my homework here, although it isn't good for me to stay in my room too much.  I am nearly in my dorm 24/7 and it's driving me insane!  I tend to get depressed and feel isolated.  At least two of my classes will end early...that will lighten my load a bit.

We went to McDonald's after the ceremony, so I just got back.  I always feel guilty for not doing any homework, since I tend to be a big procrastinator.  It was necessary for me to have some down time.
