its time for change..
I havent written in this thing in forever, so there's quite a few things to update on..
first off..I hope everyone had an
AMAZING christmas! because i know i did lol =)
I'm in Georgia, (big shocker lol) visiting my family and its amazing as always. Super cold too.. Well my neices are growing up so fast and the eldest is talking up a storm shes a little old lady trapped in a two year old body, but the young one isnt too far behind. Shes the cutest little thing!
So far in the week we havent done a lot except prepare for the big day when the man in the big red suit came =)
Ive done some shopping, and definite lounging, but ive had tons of fun so far.
Ok well now on to the good stuff..CHRISTMAS!!
Well it actually starts with christmas eve.. We had dinner here at my brothers house with the family and ate some super yummy food.. It was definitely a cuban noche buena =)
After dinner we did our secret santa exchange. the day we all arrived we picked names out of a hat and had our secret santa. It was actually pretty funny cuz without knowing my mom and i got each other as secret santas! lol ..well i got a really cool shower radio that you can hook your ipod to, and two silicone brownie molds that are shaped like hersheys bars and hersheys kisses!! suuper cute =) and the radio works amazing =)
Then we played yankee swap.. We all bought a $10 gift and put them all in a pile and then we all got numbers and picked a gift according to our number..except 2 person has a chance to steal number 1's gift or take one from the pile and so on..its a fun game..i got a little litter keeper for my car =) its awesome cuz i definitely need it..my car needs major clean up!
Later we just all sat around and talked and watched tv and such and then it was time to break out the presents for the kiddies..we turneed into santas little helpers..ive never seen so many gifts!!! lol it was cool tho..
then at like 2am everyone went to sleeo but i stayed up because i was waiting for another gift..chris said id get my gift from him at midnight tho die to technical difficulties i didnt talk to him until 3am...then i got the best present ever!! Chris and I got back together =) He was all I wanted and more than i can ask for .. I was beaming when i woke up christmas morning =) lol
Next morning it was the girls turn.they got toons of gifts and it was a Dora sponsored christmas because ive never even seen that much dora stuff at toys r us!!
I got an extra gift too! My mom handed me a beatles book and it said to go to page 13 and when i did there was a litle envelope that said surprise and when i opened it , there was a ticket for WICKED!!! I didn't know what to do.i was spleechless! I think i couldnt breathe lol ...SO defintely a great gift! i was excite to say the least lol .. i also got a belle tree ornament and my brother and sis in law gave me a little lion ornament with my neices name on it =) its the cutest lion ever! lol I love my lions =)
So all in all i had a Great christmas as far as gifts go ..the day was good too.. After all the gifts and such we just lounged for a bit and then got ready to go to dinner at one of my Bro's freinds house.. We pulled up to this huge house.. it looked like a mansion,but then again so do all the houses here.. But it was gorgeuous inside. We had a good ol' american dinner with their family. They even had the two crazy fat aunts, and litttle kids running around and turkey and creamed corn for dinner =) it was great! i had fun ...
When we got hom that night my brother and his sister in law and her husband all went to a bar to go see the dolphins game . SO me my mom and sis in law and the girls stayed at home.. When the babies went to sleep we stayed up and saw Devils wears prada ..Its really good i recommend it!
That was basically my christmas..and of course i talked to the boyfriend all through the day =) I miss him! We spent christmas together last year so this year was super weird without him.. But im just happy to go back home and now he and i can spend new years together =) so yayy for kisses at midnight! lol
I go home tomorrow and even though it's sad leaving here because i love being with my family, but im so excited to go back home!! i miss everyone and i cant wait to see all my friends and especially the boy!!!
Well that's pretty much my update. I had a horrible past two months ..well actually four.. Breaking my foot was no walk in the park..actually it was no walk at all! lol but all in all ive learned a few things and i know more about myself and a few other people. It was definitely a time to grow up a bit and i did. But im glad to be back to happy go lucky and worry free =) its excting and the new year looks like its going to be a lot of fun!! I can't wait!!! I hope everyone else has had a great year and a great christmas and i hope the new year brings amazing things!! Ive got high hopes this time around =)
