First Kiss

Aug 09, 2004 20:39

(This poem is to my future wife. I want our first passionate kiss to be on our wedding day.)

A kiss,
A magical fantasy.

Arms embrace,
Eyes meet as time stops,
Lips pressed together,
Perfect unity.

Forever,
Eternity goes by,
Love like never before,
Sparks fly,
Holding her close,
We will never let go.

Time returns,
Pulling away I pause,
Sweet taste of her beauty on my lips,
Pulses still racing,
Our lips inches apart,
Heaven is over.

Reaching out in desperation,
Bringing me back,
Passionately she kisses me,
Keeping me with her,
In our perfect embrace.

Reality ends this fantasy,
We separate,
But as one,
We will become,
For this is our fate.
