[For Michael] DINOPLOT!

The earthquake had awoken Julian with a start. He'd sat up, putting a hand on Anthony's arm, looking around in bewilderment as tremors shook the cave. "What--" And then Anthony was gone. The cave was gone. He was sitting alone in the jungle, wrapped in a sheet.

"...Bloody hell." He got to his feet, looking around as he rearranged the sheet, trying to fashion it into something more servicable as he tried his best to get his bearings. He turned in a circle, doing his best to point himself southeast, as that was the direction of the compound from most of the jungle he'd explored so far, and began walking, looking around for anything even remotely familiar.

A roar stopped him in his tracks, his blood running cold. It had been close. Far closer than he'd ever heard before, even exploring along the edge of the territory that contained the dinosaurs. That...did not bode well. He began moving through the vines and trees, now heading in the opposite direction the roar had come from, heart pounding. Oh god. One should really be careful what one wished for, it seemed. He'd thought about exploring the dinosaur territory, wishing to see one up close. This was not quite what he'd had in mind.

A cracking branch and rustling leaves off to his left turned the brisk walk into a panicked run, and he lost all sense of which way he was going as he fled in terror, clutching the sheet that was his only clothing to him. He fell at one point, got back up and continued on, though there was now a sharp pain in his right ankle with every step.

He burst through into a clearing and let out a terrified shout as he collided with something solid and warm.
