Well, a dear friend canellaphile has been giving me grief for a while that I NEEDED to watch Avatar The Last Airbender. Not that I would want to, but NEEDED. She was right. A lot of my personal philosophy is in the show, the Martial Arts are accurate. Each element has its own Martial Art base and Caligraphic style. OMFG! I heart Joss like a hearting thing that hearts. I watched the whole series in one sitting yesterday and had all the reality screwing joy in watching everything unfold. The LOTR party was a success. I really enjoyed watching all three films in a row. It was so cool. The hobbit themed food was also a fun thing. I gained weight but it was worth it in the short term. Thank you every one who made it to the party. It made everything more enjoyable ( Read more... )

The episode of Lost last night was really cool. At least my Arabic is still enough to keep up with bits and pieces. I could also understand a lot of the interpersonal information. And it was weird that I understood enough of the Russian to know what was being said, to a degree. Very cool ( Read more... )
