Sun Jar Won't Let You Keep Sun in a Jar - Requires New Name

Charge it during the day...

When it's night...presto! And not much else...

Of all the weirdest and most ridiculous gadgets I've ever seen or heard of, this ranks right up there with the worst of 'em. Created by Tobias Wong, the Sun Jar fulfills the fantasy of people who've always wanted to "hold the sun in their hands". Get with it, people! If you hold the sun in your hands, you'll melt! There is no other option.

Furthermore, holding the sun jar is NOT holding the sun in a jar, or the sun's son in your hands. What it is, basically, is a solar-powered candy jar with low-energy LEDs in it. Doesn't sound so fantastic when it you call it what it is now, does it?

A: Hey, whatcha got there?

B: I'm holding the "sun in a jar"!!!

A: You liar. It's just a bunch of solar-powered low-energy LEDs that you stuffed into a cookie jar. You'd sound more convincing saying "I'm holding magic kuih raya" instead!

B: I would now, wouldn't I?
