I saw you with blurred vision,
You were perfection,
Everyone else saw through,
Through your perfection,
To the uglieness within,
I saw you in a different light,
One dimmed so I couldn't see the flaws,
Like scratches in glass,
Perfect in the dim,
In brighter light you can see the imperfections.
In a way I should thank you,
For showing me,
That there is no perfect,
Everything is flawed,
Its all in the lighting,
I was looking at you in the wrong light.
