Someone finally noticed one of the post count Easter Eggs on the forum. I just wish it was someone other than trinity_of_ash
That said, no-one noticed the big easter egg in the Counterattack System Perk in the newest SilCORE FAQ :(
In other news, I haven't been getting to sleep at a decent hour. I think the Antihistamenes make me far more susceptable to caffeine. Only have a few bottles of Mead left to get rid of. It's all the Crabapple Blast (18+ percent, $20). I hope those who have bought the Mead enjoy it.
Beer should be done for first tasting in 9 days. The cost of the beer kit and all the bottles and such is roughly what it cost to make 2 or 3 bottles of mead. Kinda put stuff into perspective. When your fermenting sugar costs $2 for a batch, as oppsed to $50+ things get a lot cheaper. It also helps that brett paid for this batch o' beer. I will do the next. may go all out and spend $10 on spraymalt instead of $2 on dextrose. Even if we got stupid and made our own wort from scratch, stuff would be less than half of what the inexpensive Mead cost. I know why beer is mass brewed and Mead fell to the wayside.
Finished Full Metal Alchemist. I'm not sure on the ending. it seeme fitting and it looked like things were well done considering most fans think it severly diverged from the manga story around ep 25. (I haven't read the Manga, so I have no clue). I'm interested in the movie, but I dunno if it's worth mucking up the ending, you know?
Picked up the uber special remastered, rerecorded version of Patlabor the Movie last night. Didn't watch all of it, may do that today. It was released by Bandai Visual International, which is sortof where Bandai Entertainment is being moved, but it will be a slow process. The dub is better than Manga's and the subs do look better. The image is sharper, but also darker. May be intentional, but it looks like I need a lot less light in the omm to appreciate it. I'll know more when I do a full watching. I still have the Manga releases, crappy as they are, since they have the original 2.1 mix, as opposed to the re-acted 5.1 mix. It also came with 2 books, one of the storyboards and one of sketches and interviews. I am such a Oshii loser. Not as bad as with Tomino, but dammit!
Should have Dunbine coming in slowly for me at Reader's and Votoms should continue to be released. CPM is having issues because one of their releasing houses went bankrupt and defaulted on a lot of their debts to CPM, so it was up in the air for a while. I do hope they manage to pull through. They have a lot of titles I grew up with and we are buying the complete Patlabor TV series and 2nd OVA, since we have just about everything else Patlabor...
I think thats it. I have housework to do and food to eat.
