I have to reupload my podfic, but I'm not sure where to do this.

Where do you all put yours? Names I know of are Box, Dropbox, and Mediafire, but I don't know the pros and cons of each? I seem to remember that mediafire links expire?

I have dl links for all my pods on LJ, but I thought I might create streaming links and house them all on AO3. It wasn't really a thing to have streaming links when I was making a lot of pods ( Read more... )

So, what is the consensus on uploading different versions of podfic? I'm recording something at the moment and I'm going to add music breaks and probably the message noise for the phones - but I know some people prefer to listen to podfic without that kind of thing so figured I would upload both versions - just the straight read and the music added ( Read more... )

Hey all! I'm getting ready to upload my first longer fic (~90 minutes) and I'm wondering if you guys generally post longer fics as an audio book as well as a series of smaller mp3 files? Or do most listeners skip straight to the audiobook option these days?

(I think this might have been answered in an earlier post but I know trends keep changing

So one of my podfics on mediafire has been suspended due to  being a copywrite protected work. Does anyone know how I can get around that or get that repealed, or do I just have to reupload it with a renamed file?
