Ring-a-ding-ding!!!!
I always have mixed emotions when the holidays come to a close.
I've got the house tidied up, and all the gifts put away, but I'm keeping the tree and the decorations up for a few more days. I'm not ready to let go yet.
A big Thank-You to all of you for the wonderful cards! They give me a big smile every time I walk by them.
The New Years Eve Party last night was a great time. Matthew's hockey coach, who also happens to be a good friend and neighbour had about 15 families over. What a hoot playing street hockey at midnight (parents against the kids). We lost, only because the young'uns wore us out.
In the typical holiday fashion, I'm reading all of the books I got for my kids this year, while they play the new X-Box. The Dark Is Rising and the new Uncle John's Bathroom Reader. Good trivia for the tub, with all the new bath stuff Santa put in my stocking.
