The story picks up after Hodgins wakes up after a week-long coma caused by a serious car accident, during which a Twitter-wide shout out to "Bugman" was done by fans all over the place! Angst seems to be in full force amongst the Twones. Booth is obviously upset over Brennan's dates with Angela's OB/GYN, Dr. Wes, which didn't happen because of Hodgins' accident. Jared lost his new job because he picked friends over money (Good man, Boothie!) and has been bunking at Cam's. Cam's been a wreck because she was named as Hodgins' medical proxy, and had to make some very difficult decisions to save Hodgins' life. At least she can now see that her decisions are the right ones...Big sigh of relief all around!
Oh yes, also Jared asked Cam out on a date on Saturday, and Cam agreed! :)
So, what did the Twones bring us on this particular day?
An uncharacteristic but completely understandable Booth woke up late, an act of kindness turned into the trigger for bad things to come, and things just went downhill from there...
A not-so-fazed Brennan trudged over an obviously broken-hearted Booth to chat with none other than her latest romantic interest (pfft!), Dr. Wes. Meanwhile, a fangirl showed her displeasure at Brennan's attitude towards Booth.
Meanwhile, Angela made a comment, which was taken very literally by the ever-so-literal Brennan. This led to a little chat between the two good friends.
As Brennan headed to the hospital, Sully caught with Angela up with various things. Later, he visited Hodgins in the hospital, and brought Hodgins a little present to ease the boredom of being cooped up in the sickbed.
Not only is Dr. Wes chatting with Brennan, he decided to surprise her with...
More surprises! Turned out that Dr. Wes not only knew Angela and Hodgins, he also knows Rebecca?! (Hmm. Maybe we can...*evil snicker*)
Brennan arrived at the hospital. Perhaps her frosty attitude was getting to Booth, he went out for a walk. A further peace-offering by Booth was brutally rejected by Brennan (poor man, Boothie!!!), and nothing Angela said comforted that broken heart...*collective sigh by all fangirls*
This bad mood of Booth's was somewhat alleviated by a little chat and greet with Rebecca.
Now it's just Angela and Hodgins in the hospital room. A heartfelt conversation between the two lovers. Hodgins wanted to know the truth about his arm but he wasn't ready to believe Angela's answers...
Finally, Hodgins was good for everyone to visit. Booth also met with the detective in charge of Hodgins' accident. Brennan made a seemingly begrudging apology to Booth, but no accepting of apology by Booth. Hmmmm. More trouble between the partners?
Hodgins' waking up received a lot of get-well wishes from many. Yes, Daisy's was the loudest!!! As usual.
Booth tried again to soften up Brennan, who had thawed a bit since this morning, but still not thoroughly defrosted yet. Again, Booth's efforts were not so successful...(Poor Boothie...)
A little father-son talk between Booth and Parker. Silliness of the world and the importance of hugs were discussed :)
Afterwards, Booth ironed out some details of the UK trip with Dr. Wyatt. Seems like there was a problem? Dr. Wyatt promised to sort it out.
In a rare show of heart, Brennan questioned the appropriateness for her and Booth to go to the UK when their friend was still bedridden. Angela quickly smoothed out Brennan's concerns.
And with that, Angela and Hodgins are back to by themselves in the hospital room. Hodgins was in pain but refused any medication as he's sick of sleeping already and really wanted to be out of there. Don't blame the guy. He caught up with what's happened since his accident. Not trusting Angela's answers, he asked Cam to come.
Sometime during that Hodgela exchange, Hodgins caught up with Cam on Twitter and asked his question.
Angela voiced her concerns on Hodgins not trusting her words to Cam. Looks like Cam's being bombarded from both fronts, poor woman.
Ah, Hodgins and Booth share a pudding moment :)
Another surprise of the day! Who knew Jared and Sully were sci-fi fans? Not to mention Tony DiNozzo from TwNCIS as well. Hmmm. Guy hangout?
Angela decided to do some detective work of her own. Well, she IS Jeffersonian's resident computer genius :) Sully has agreed to help her out.
After that, Booth and Brennan left the hospital and headed home to pack for the UK trip the next day, among well wishes from Angela. Along the way, Booth couldn't help but check on Hodgins again. Ah, that protectiveness of Booth's (Fangirls, in unison --- *romantic sigh*)
A surprise came for Brennan in the form of Dr. Wes (B&B fangirls in unison --- grrrrrr) who brought over something that should've been B&B-only! And Brennan accepted!!! Oh my, poor Booth. And...what???
Dr. Wes also caught up more with Rebecca. They reassured each other that professional partnership and platonic friendship are all there is between Booth and Brennan. Yeah, right, keep deluding yourselves, you two!!
Meanwhile, Booth turned all Sweets by chatting about obsession with a fangirl.
Rebecca checked on Booth's packing progress and general mood (sucking up, more like, *lol*)
All packed, Booth baded goodnight to Brennan, adding a little wish which could only be granted by her. Brennan, as usual, evaded the wish...Poor Boothie...
Being a nice and naturally flirty guy, Booth couldn't help but respond to Rebecca's flirting. Some old memories were brought up...Hopefully no old flames though.
Oh oh, while Brennan checked up on Hodgins and Angela, she let slip something that, when Booth hears, would definitely break his heart! But, as calm as she please, she went on with comforting and reassuring Angela about Hodgins' healing process. Did Brennan realise what she'd let slip??? Probably not.
And with that, Brennan went from a concerned friend back to frolicking with Dr. Wes...
From Brennan's goodnight tweet, at least she went to bed alone (Phew!). As did Dr. Wes, according to his goodnight tweet here.
Meanwhile, Jared poked his head in and made an interesting observation...Hope Booth wouldn't see this tweet from his own brother...
What has Cam been up to for the rest of the day? Let's take a look...
Before Cam could visit Slumberland, Jared caught up with her. The general catching up turned in the direction of Saturday's date and all of a sudden Cam was somewhat hesitant about it. Oh no, and Jared was all excited about it too! :(
Finally, Sully and Perotta got some peaceful time :)
A little insight into a day in cute little Parker's life. It seems Parker's not so innocent after all ;)
While that was all happening, Mr. Nigel-Murray conducted his usual Trivia Corner (oh, we love Mr. Nigel-Murray, don't we, fangirls?)
