We left LA at 7'ish this morning and got up here about 1:30. It took a couple of hours to set up camp and have lunch. Not a bad drive up, limited CHP and not much traffic. Now I'm just waiting for the tri tip & shrimp to cook foe dinner.

Well I'm back from Mammoth, it was actually really nice up there. The weather was cool and it wasn't really cold at night. The drive up was uneventful and I didn't go to the hospital this year!

Yes it's that time of year again, bacon-time! On the 26th I'm heading up to Mammoth so on the 29th I'll be passing back through Bishop and stopping at Mahogany Farms.

So by this time next week I'm closing any requests for bacon/jerky. There's no guarantee on if there will be any however, they do sell out and I'll get what I can.
