Pulling a hamster
So Sunday night I was leaving Vince's place and heading home. Going east on Firestone I see a big rig pulling out of one of the allies to the north turning left onto Firestone. So I'm in the number 2 lane and I pull over to the right a bit to give him extra room. Now for those who don't know Firestone is a 4 lane street with a wide center median. The truck gets about halfway out into the street and the cab portion is just crossing the center median when I see the rig bounce kind of funny. So I slow down thinking something is wrong and watch the rig. Suddenly I see the rig portion bounce and drop about 3 feet while the cab keeps turning left. I actually see the cab portion get entirely clear of the rig before the driver stopped realizing something was wrong. So now as I'm driving past this both west bound lanes of traffic are blocked (thankfully at 11pm) and the cab is parking in the center median.
I had to immediately call Vince up and tell him I saw a rig pull a Hammond.
