As I near the end of the summer...
I can't believe I only have about a week and a half before I head onto college! WTF happened to my grade-school life? I've heard it said that either the best time of your life is either high school or college. Considering how much "fun" I had in high school, I have a feeling I'm going to enjoy college very much. 8)
However, there is so much flowing through my brain right now I can't even comprehend some of it...
1) Getting ready for college. This has been on my mind all summer and it's really been a pain in the neck. I can't wait until I'm at college so I won't have to worry about getting stuff for it.
2) The Crispin Glover thing. Yeah... the whole fact I'll be missing out on an opportunity I may never have again is kind of a bummer.
3) Fics & stories I never finished. My three fics (Of Love Hearts and Rice, Astray, & Look Back and Smile) I never even got around to this summer when I had said that I was going to finish them. So, heads up about that: I don't know when I get back to any of them. I'll finish them all someday... just not any day soon.
4) Any video projects I had had... nope, not gonna happen anytime soon. This means my countdown show, any fun cosplay vids, or my senior video; but fanvids are something I do for fun so who knows about those.
5) At least you can say I have my health, right? Not so much. I haven't been feeling well over the past few weeks. My doctor says I'm fine, so I'm trying not to think about it too much. It's probably my diet and the fact I need more exercise. I'll be getting a lot of that at college (walking from building to building for classes).
And finally:
6) Quality time with my friends. Some friends I didn't hang out with as much as I would have liked. Although I am going to see the Glee movie tomorrow with one of them, then I'll be going to see Fright Night *squee* with a bunch of friends on Friday (if I have money and the movie is good, I'll take another one of my friends to see FN early next week). XD But yeah, some sleepovers and hanging-outs that I wanetd to happen won't be happening. Mostly because next week is my final week and I'll be spending my time packing up. I do wanna have a Goodbye Party next week because I am the only one among my close friends who is actually moving out of town for school. So I really have to get planning on that ASAP.
So that's what my life looks like right now. I'm already planning on what my hobby will be for next summer: The Good Wife.... more specifically: Eli Gold summer! XD I digress though. Don't think this is my last journal before college. I still have two Torchwood reviews to do before then (and anything else in-between). If you read this, then thanks for showing interest. If you didn't... well, then I doubt you're reading this sentence too, so who cares? XD
