Secret Mutant!!
Hello, internet! I owe you a longer update (in fact, I have most of it written in my email drafts), but in the mean time, SECRET MUTANT IS UPON US!
I will do a proper rec post later this weekend, probably, but for now I want to tell you to all run off and read my fricking amazing gift fic.

Moira hasn't seen her old partner in saving the world from threats human and intergalactic, Erik Lehnsherr, for a few years. When she finally does see him again, she finds a man different from the one who's been with her down in the dark and the dirt and the blood... or maybe he isn't so different after all.
Oh my god, guys, I GOT MOIRA + ERIK BFF FIC!! It is AMAZING and wonderful and it is all about Moira trying to reconcile the best friend she knew for years and the man he's become. Moira's inner narrative is just so perfect and sweet and wonderful and her relationship with Erik is beautifully illustrated through her memories and associations. We see how Erik has changed with her, and we also can clearly see that he's still the same as he always was. Erik the doting husband and father is obviously a favorite trope of mine, and we get that too, along with little pieces of his courtship with Charles.
And Moira feeds a baby! And Charles holds a baby! AND MOIRA IS JUST SO GREAT IN THIS, I WANT TO HUG HER. There is a dearth of good Moira fic in this fandom, and for that alone, this has me super gleeful! (But for all the reasons above, it also has me super gleeful. There's a lot of glee, is what I'm saying.)

As usual, the advent of Secret Mutant means it's time for the annual "What did I write?" poll. This year it's basically a dead giveaway--I think I practically signed both stories, but my main story definitely. Still, indulge me in this.
