bingo and stuff
Hi, internet! I went to quatredeathlady's house this weekend! We saw Matt Hires and Matchbox Twenty! It was awesome! Now I am back and tired and don't want to go to work, and also my eye is swollen, but I STILL HAD AN AWESOME TIME.
I signed up for XMFC Bingo on Dreamwidth. I was hesitant, because you could only strike one category and I don't write sex AND I'm picky about pairings, so I ended up striking the "relationships" category and some individual prompts dealing with mpreg and all that...stuff...and crossovers with movies I don't care about (Wanted, etc. For those of you not in this fandom, there is an inexplicably HUGE subfandom involving characters from McAvoy and Fassbender's other movies, Wanted especially.)
(I've had meta in my head for a few days now concerning how I interact fannishly and how WILDLY DIFFERENT it is from the "norms" and how it took a Howlett/Herc meta post on tumblr to make me realize it, but let me just say it is weird and kind of fascinating to be a person who writes a lot but doesn't tend to write porn unless the story really calls for it.)
I managed to get an okay card, though, with mostly things I can write and only a few things I can't.
