Things aren't great, but I have successfully stopped myself from whining about everything for many nights in a row, so count yourselves lucky on that one. It's just...hard to be sad when everyone else is sad and you feel like their angst is more legitimate than yours. Second verse, etc. And I know that's just the conditioning of the illness, what it wants you to think, even if it's not true, but sometimes it's not worth the energy to fight back.

I try not to pull this meme out with much frequency because I feel like it's more socially acceptable to offer to do things FOR YOU than it is to ask you to do things FOR ME, but it's Monday, it's a holiday, I'm at work, I'm sad, and I really just wish I was still sleeping. So. We're pulling out the big guns.
