I had to choose between two series but in the end, my BEST EVER fic series is Serial Killer 'Verse. I lived and breathed that thing for a while and I loved every damn second of it, even when it was blood sweat and tears, even when I was scaring myself. Yeah. It felt very good to write that one.

[Also, I'm sorry to cheat, but the other one I had as a final candidate was my first XMBB - Crucible]

You know what, as much as I am super proud of myself for writing the big bang and as much as I love it and want to force everyone to read it... I am fondest of Further Studies in Impossibility. It's an Inception/Harry Potter fusion, based off a meme prompt where someone suggested that the reason Ariadne is so great at dream-building and so unbothered by its potential criminal usage is that she's actually Teddy Lupin and Victoire Weasley's daughter. And I just had so much fun writing it; I got to retell the events of the film with an emphasis on characterization for my favorite and give her motivations beyond audience avatar, I wrote a romance that I think builds quite believably, and I came up with a plot conflict and resolutions that make sense and are entertaining to read. Action scenes! Crossovers! Kissing! People using their words! Happy endings! Man, I love this story. Plus it was the first long-form fic I ever wrote; basically everything I'd written had been one-shots and single scenes and stuff that rarely lasted longer than a ( ... )

I'm not someone who can bang out fics like it's their job nor do I have any sort of following, but my favorite fic, that I've written and posted, is Stranger Than. (Though my X-Men RBB might surpass that.) It was a fic that I wrote for reel-merlin last year. I had a lot of fun writing it and I even though I doubted myself during it, I put a ton of work into adapting the movie into something believable in this universe.

However, my favorite thing I've ever written is this comment fic, Writing Exercise that I wrote here. It's a little cheesy at the end, but I think that everyone has their insecurities and sometimes, we just need to do something to say that these things don't define who we are or what we can do.

This is the only one that I still believe is actually good: No Truth Out There, Torchwood, Original Character, 200 words.

And yeah, I think I continue to like this one b/c it's so short.

My favorite fic that I've ever written is Truth is so rare that it is delightful to tell it (http://archiveofourown.org/works/72529) about Suzie from Torchwood. It was fun to write, a real rush of words that just happened. I also enjoyed the beta process with that one because I had the help of three very talented readers who gave me a lot to think about and really helped me to shape the piece.
