Jesus, I'm tired. Christmas is in like, four days. WHAT THE FUCK. I feel like I was totally on top of Christmas about two weeks ago and between the big bang and the forum, I got so tied up in other things that I lost my jumpstart on Christmas. Goddammit.
But! Work Christmas is over! I did all the baking and wrapping and shit and I'm done. All the presents for my family are purchased, though my brother's stuff still isn't here, so I'm getting nervous. If it doesn't come, it doesn't come; I have one other thing to give him and I can just ship the rest when it gets here.
I do have some writing obligations to do, namely secret_mutant, but I'm not particularly worried. (Speaking of secret_mutant, if you're signed up but not following the comm, there's a post here about the length of the posting period, so go over and chime in.) I have off on Friday, kind of randomly, so I'm planning on going home Thursday night (I think?) and my parents are working on Friday, so I'll have all day to do whatever I don't get done tonight and tomorrow.

Now I'm watching "Woodland Critter Christmas" while Becca makes cookies and stuff for her holiday baskets. Soooo tired. It's just me and Doug in the office tomorrow and Thursday, which will be interesting. WE'LL SEE WHAT HAPPENS. Hopefully some writing! And maybe some fic reading!

Let me tell you what I really want for Christmas, guys: ALL THE FUCKING MUTANT SCHOOL AUS.
What you heard was, "I want a lot of Mutant School AUs." What I said was, "Bring me all the Mutant School AUs you have."
Seriously. Just a hundred gazillion stories where Charles and Erik stay together after the beach and run the school together. And they're together, but that doesn't make it easy. They have to work for it and they still fight and things aren't perfect, but Charles is learning that sometimes things being hard makes them sweeter and Erik is learning that sometimes when you lose a fight you come away stronger for it.
And most of all, they're still so fucking in love. ♥ ♥ ♥
