Howdy, internet.

How has your weekend been, internet? Mine has been...not as productive and I'd have liked it to be. I have about a zillion words left to write in the big bang. Instead of doing that, I have been looking at Tumblr a lot, refreshing the fic comms and bitching about how there is no new fic, having epically long GChats with
littledust about Jean's erotic fanfiction and Erik's ~*feelings*~ and the Dead Poets Society crossover of our heart, watching ~*all the vids*~, talking to my family, eating, and mindlessly channel surfing through my parents' cable.
I've written some words? I finished one scene, I think, and I'm almost done with another. So there's that.
Tomorrow after breakfast at Doc's, we're going shoe shopping. A vitally important part of my day, let me tell you. (It's actually shoe-taking-back-before-the-90-day-cut-off, but I'm hoping to use that return + a coupon I have to get new sneakers.)

Speaking of spending all the money...holy crap, I spent a lot of money yesterday, despite not leaving the house. It was one of those things where I'd go to buy a present for someone and just say fuck it and buy everything in my cart. So I got the presents I needed from Amazon and also the DVDs for myself. And the sweater from Old Navy for my mom and also the dress and shirts I had for me. And I upgraded my OS. And I lost out on these shoes I wanted on ideeli so I went and found another pair I liked more and bought those instead.
So. Lots of packages coming to my house in the near future. Whoops. I hope none of them come Laser Ship.

I'm continuing to have a lot of feelings about Charles and Erik and how much they love each other. I'm also continuing to have a lot of feelings about how WRONG PEOPLE ARE ON THE INTERNET when it comes to the reasoning behind the divorce. I continually don't understand this thinking that ~*Erik was in the right*~ and the whole thing is Charles' fault. GENOCIDE IS NOT THE ANSWER. EVER. OKAY?
I'm not saying Charles was a saint--dude's a HUGE dick who thinks he's always right and frequently makes unilateral decisions for everyone because he's so sure of his rightness. He's arrogant and ignorant to the bigger picture, sometimes. But don't slag him off for not being willing to compromise with someone who wants to destroy the human race.
The point is that they're BOTH wrong. It's not one person's fault more than the other. Except for that genocide thing, seriously, Erik, dial it back, but that's more the writers' fault than anything else.

Ugh, sorry for getting my feelings on you. In conclusion, pie.
