Not My Fandom Fest v. 2.0 is almost here!
That's right, kids! Not My Fandom Fest is returning in less than five days!
For those of you who weren't around last year, the conceit of Not My Fandom Fest is simple: you're challenged to write a short ficlet, either serious or whimiscal, for a fandom that you're not a part of. As it says on the master post:
We all joke about "fannish osmosis," and this comment ficathon is going to put that to the test. The object is to write a ficlet for a fandom you're not a part of based solely on what you've learned from your friends list and fandom at large. Silly, serious, the tone and approach are up to you. The only rule is that you can't write for a fandom that you have actually seen the source material for. (So, if, for example, you've seen all of Criminal Minds but just haven't participated in the fandom, that doesn't count.)

The actual fest will be this weekend, but right now I'd like your help identifying some fandoms that need the NMFF treatment. Below the cut is the list of fandoms we used last year. Please take a look and if there's a fandom you'd like to see included that's not on the list, comment here and tell me what it is. I'll make sure it's included. Any new fandoms that have cropped up since last year will need to be commented or I will not add them.
The fest will go live this Friday, October 21 probably around noon EST. It will run all weekend, although we'll stop accepting new fandoms at about 11PM EST on Sunday night, so get all your fandoms in early to make sure they're included!
