She gave me the letter "C." I have 392 songs that start with C. I eventually narrowed it down to 65 and then 35 and then 21 and I settled on 15. SO. Fifteen songs! Beneath the cut! Along with fifteen videos, so beware if you have a slow browser.
(And, my one preachy note before you click: A lot of these songs are by independent artists. If you like their stuff, please look them up online and consider buying a few songs from iTunes in order to show them just how much you like them. This is how they make their living, after all.)

Okay, legit, this is how I came about my love for April Smith. mcwonthelottery was visiting me last February and said, "Listen to this, I think you'll really like it" and put on this song. And I did. Because it's awesome.

3. "Comfortably Numb" by Dar Williams
This is a pretty badass cover, given that it's Dar (and I love her! But "badass" isn't the first adjective that jumps to mind when I think of her). But I love it a lot. And it's awesome live.

It's possible that this is my favorite Ingrid Michaelson song. It's beautiful and the MP3 I uploaded is a live one because it sounds 2309482904 better with Allie and Bess than it does with just Ingrid on her own. Oh man.
