So. Wow. Let's see. I am still in NJ for one more night. Tonight I had pizza! Real pizza! It was as wonderful as I remembered.
Yesterday my dad took me to see HP7. It was good! I liked it a lot more than I liked the 7th book! In particular, I thought it steamlined the story a bit. It didn't drag at all. Those kids are fucking amazing, guys. The producers really lucked out in hiring a bunch of kids who all grew into awesome actors. I know I've said that before, but I will continue to say it. They all continually blow me away. I particularly liked the scene of Harry and Hermione dancing and the animated sequence while Hermione was reading the fairy tale. I'm excited to see the second part. My dad liked it too.
Today I met my friend Lauren for lunch and then went to see my grandmother at the nursing home. Lunch was awesome. The rest was... less so.
Throughout all of this, however, I've been re-watching Who S5. And. Guys. I love it so much still. I can't even deal. I just want to hug everyone. It makes me so happy, like a warm cuddle. I'm even liking River a lot more on the second viewing than I liked her, you know, ever before. I used to sort of tolerate her, but now I think I may genuinely appreciate her. She'll probably never be my favorite, but, much like I've learned to appreciate Jack, I think I've learned to appreciate her.
Which is funny because, actually, I'm tolerating Jack a lot less these days. I'll still read him in Jack/Ianto stories, because I still love Ianto and I don't mind him in relation to Ianto and Gwen, but... on his own, as a character, my patience for him has grown super short and the more I read people gushing over him, the less I like him. Sigh. Oh well.
Anyway, the point is, I like River a lot more this time around and I still love S5 like burning, omg. CUDDLE PARTY. LET'S ALL CUDDLE! TEAM TARDIS + US, OKAY?

I'm sort of working on a ficlet on and off. There are about a million other things I should be doing, but it popped into my head while I was working on the last fic I posted and it won't leave me alone. Also, I got an idea for some actual conflict for the Not!OT3 AU, so I might play with that for a little while, too. And I think I'm going to post a meme in a bit. We'll see what happens.
