OKAY I LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THAT.
I started doing a running commentary while watching it, mostly to keep from IMing mcwonthelottery every thirty seconds, but then it tapered off about halfway through when the "OMG NEW DOCTOR OMG" novelty wore off and I was sucked into the actual story. But I will paste what I did write in here, for posterity:
Oh my god, a little girl praying to Santa. THIS IS THE GREATEST EVER.
OH MY GOD, WALKING INTO SHIT AND FALLING OVER, MY FAVORITE THING IN EVERY SHOW EVER.
oh my god, this entire scene of eating oh my god, what even is this except AMAZING?
OMG I LOVE EVERY SECOND OF THIS, WHAT IS EVEN HAPPENING?
Oh, she put a face on the apple! She is tiny and precious and hilarious.
HE JUST SAID "WIBBLY-WOBBLY TIMEY-WIMEY."
I looove his interaction with lil!Amy. omg. He's awesome. So is she. I frigging love her already and she's like, eight.
Oh, I totes knew that he was going to jump too far in the future. As everyone did, I'm sure.
omg, I love Eleven. I LOVE HIM. I LOVE HIM. It' sonly been half of an episode but I LOVE HIM.
SHE KEPT BITING THEM OMG. Guys, I love Amy too. AHAHAHAHA.

Hahaha, further thoughts: I love love LOVE that the "Raggedy Doctor" was something that Amy clung to so hard that everyone in town knew who he was. I LOVE IT. And I loved that segment where it flashed through the history of Who, because, omg, awesome awesome awesome. I loved all the townspeople. I love Amy. I LOVE ELEVEN. I LOVE EVERYTHING.
Totes excited about this season, guys. TOTES EXCITED.
