Hello, internet.

Atlantic City was nice. I didn't gamble, but I had a nice time at the Boardwalk and relaxing away from home. My cousins were annoying as shit, but that's to be expected. It's kind of hilarious how stereotypically teenaged they are. The older one does everything in her power to rebel against my aunt. If I suggest something, she has no problem with it, but the second her mother says it, you'd think the world was ending. The younger one is completely spoiled and whines non-stop to get her way. They're not bad one-on-one, but together, they kind of feed off of each other and argue constantly.

Still, not a terrible weekend.

Home, now. I have plans for most of the rest of the week, little things, day trips and the like. After I got home tonight I watched some more S2 Who. I love Mickey, guys. I really do. I didn't, at first, but he grew on me as the show progressed, and even though I know we'll see him again whenever I watch "The Age of Steel," I still get a bit sniffly when he's saying goodbye to Rose. I mean, yes, I know he'll be back and I know in the meantime he'll be having big gay space adventures with Jake, but Mickey is just constantly in a no-win situation when it comes to the Doctor. He loves Rose whole-heartedly, but she only has eyes for the Doctor. Which is fine with me, obvs, but still tragic.

Um, anyway.

Now I am putting together a recs list for suchthefangirl because it is the thing on my 2do list that requires the least amount of thinking and the most amount of reading stories in bed. Just to, you know, refresh my memory on what I like. ::shifty eyes:: I might plow through the second to last disc of S2, but I don't know if my heart is quite stable enough to watch "Army of Ghosts" and "Doomsday" right now. I might just watch vids. A tiny, concentrated burst of Doctor/Rose might be just what my brain wants tonight.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, you guys all hate Doctor/Rose and think I'm crazy. You can't harsh my squee!

But for now, reading and recs. I may share some of them with you guys at a later date.

Good night, internet!
