holiday stuff
Okay! So, I know that holiday memes have being going around since before Thanksgiving (because, pardon me for saying so, but you people are fucking nuts), but I am... not participating. And here's why:
It's not that I don't love you/Christmas/presents/cards. It' snot that I don't want to receive a card from you! I love stuff like that. I love the holiday season. I am not, in fact, a Scrooge, despite working in retail at the holiday season. I just absolutely, cannot commit to sending anything back. I can't even promise ficlets this year, because I am so behind on life.
Again, it's not that I don't want to! I am always going around buying crap for people because I am crazy and love to give people things. I am just total shit at actually going to the post office and sending things to people. Really, really bad. Ask krabapple. In DC/Baltimore, I gave her a box with like, a year's worth of crap that I had collected and saved up, fully intending to send it to her at some point and failing epically.
Anyway, that is why I haven't opted in to any of your card memes. I STILL LOVE YOU, I PROMISE. ♥ But I hate putting my name on a list like that when I know I won't be able to reciprocate.
