Internet, "Game On" is on right now, and it is just like Christmas. It is like Christmas every time this episode is on, but it's like SURPRISE Christmas when it's on for-real teevee and not just me putting a DVD in. I am basically live-tweeting it, even though I promised I wouldn't, but I just keep adoring everything that happens. Well, the Leo/Jordan stuff about Qumar is kind of boring, but Leo/Jordan is adorable, so I make allowances.
ANYWAY. I just. Oh! This show! This episode! Guys, can you feel the love? I am feeling it so hard. The tease, with everyone punking Toby about Bartlet giving a wrong answer! Sam out in California, meeting Elsie and Will for the first time! Will's bowtie! The mattress store! Toby trying to get Andy to marry him again! Beatrice and Bluto! Will's press conference, with Elsie and Sam watching from the sidelines! "There are worse things in the world than no longer being alive."
There's just so much love and fun and happiness in these 44 minutes. Will and Sam on the beach, Sam giving Will his tie... the way Will can make Sam feel guilty after knowing him for an hour, just by looking at him? I may be veering off into shipper tin hat territory, but still. LOVE. And we've got Leo giving Jed that advice, because they love each other that much, and Charlie and his crazy obsession with Bartlet's "game" tie. Toby, Josh, and CJ on Air Force One... it's an episode that's filled with these little ensemble interactions that show how amazingly this cast could work together and how comfortable these people are with each other. The debate! Abbey! So much love! And I haven't even gotten to the bar scene yet, and you guys know how much I eat that one up ;D
