Last night moonsheen, quatredeathlady and I went to the best Katy gig ever.
I know I say that every time, but it's only because it's true.
Anyway, it was at the Canal Room, where she needs to play again immediately because it's the best venue ever. There are little couches and tables with candles surrounding the stage. VERY COOL. A pretty cool guy named Ari Herstand opened for her, and I liked him so much I went and told him that I had no cash on me, but I'd buy his CD off iTunes as soon as I got home. (I did. Well, okay, I did it this afternoon because I was too busy eating and watching Signs when we got home, but still.) He seemed a little nervous, but his songs were A+.
I think I have most of Katy's set list. I'm having trouble reading my own handwriting, but I think this was it:

It was full band with strings and it kicked ASS. Seriously. Oh my gosh, guys, you can see for yourself when I upload the five videos that I took (The four starred songs plus one other which I've forgotten) later this weekend. SO SO AWESOME.
(Also, most of my favorite songs are TOTALLY going to be on the new album, which I CANNOT WAIT FOR.)
Afterwards, Nicole and I came back here and Alex went home. This afternoon we are seeing Talley's Folly in Princeton (suchthefangirl, I'll be thinking of you!) and this evening Steven is coming to visit and we are going to my Uncle's Halloween thing. GOOD TIMES. I should eat something. Also, get dressed.
