torchwood comment + plea for friends
So, there's this camp song called "Princess Pat" that I was humming today, and upon closer inspection, I think it includes a subtle commentary on Torchwood. The second verse is as follows:

Seriously. Every time I think about it I chuckle a little bit. Yes, Captain Jack did have a mighty fine crew. An incredibly idiotic crew, who caused more damage than they prevented, but they were all very, very pretty.

In other news, Ingrid Michaelson is playing at the Theatre of the Living Arts in Philly on November 23. I very much would like to go, but I also don't really want to go by myself. I asked my two friends who live near Philly (the two that I know of, at least) and one can't come and the other never got back to me, so now I am asking you, flist. WOULD YOU LIKE TO JOIN ME? I'll be driving down from Jersey on Sunday morning/afternoon and, depending on if I have somewhere to stay, back on either Sunday night or Monday morning. It's the weekend before Thanksgiving. SOMEONE has to have off from work or school and want to join me, right?
AND, to make it even more cool, IT'S A FANCY DRESS CONCERT. Everyone is going to be all super dressed up, so I HAVE to go, and one of you should go with me. Here is all the information:
