chat round up, plus... wow, that's really it, isn't it?
Last night was the first writing chat thingy with the new and improved format. I think it went swimmingly. It started for real around 6:30 and ran until almost 9:30. Good times! The lack of background chatter made it so much easier to write, you have no idea.
It would have been nicer if some more of you had shown up, but it went well. /guilt trip
Anyway! You should totally go over and peruse the submissions. There's some great original stuff from ruffwriter, and A+ SGA, TWW, and TXF from inocciduous, as well as a ton of DC comics stuff, mixed in with all sorts of other goodies.
Here's mine:
[humidity] original - in which Alan remembers back to when his life sucked a lot.
[light a match] sga - Spelunking - in which Rodney and John are stuck in a cave.
[small injuries] original au - in which Danny sends mixed signals and Alan misses freelance work without crazy, hot bosses.
[the sun is rising] tww - in which it's made clear that Donna only brings coffee on special occasions.
[why did you wait?] tww - in which Will bumps into his ex in an Iowa grocery store.
[can't always get what you want] original au - in which Keerthi asks a question way too early on a Sunday morning.

After the chat, I had a nice conversation with ruffwriter about crappy creative writing programs and all sorts of other writing-related stuff. It was AWESOME. In my recent total aversion to AIM, I had forgotten how nice it is to have a good conversation with someone over teh internets.

I have done... nothing today. Except watch Once on HBO, which, of course, made me weepy. I immediately followed it up with the 1pm rerun of WaT, which just... confused my brain. A lot. In a hilarious way. But, awww. Once.
