Okay, so, I was sort of planning on going to Ingrid Micahelson's Staten Island date, but that was before I found out that Newton Faulkner is joining the tour starting in CA, so now I'm thinking about going to the Philly date. Is anyone else interested? Perhaps someone with a place to crash? Because I'll have a car and stuff and will bring food and presents, but I might need a floor/bed. Or I'll just drive back that night if I end up going by myself.
Anyway, it's November 23rd. Ingrid Micahelson, David Ford, and Newton Faulkner. GOOD TIMES.

Today, I went with my mom and my aunt and the babies to the Turtleback Zoo. Let me just say, it is about fifty times better than it was when I went there as a kid. Apparently it was voted like, the worst zoo in America or something, so now it's super nice and cleaned up. It's only a tiny zoo, but it's the perfect size for kids. The babies had a great time when they weren't, you know, climbing all over me because I am their favorite, apparently. ANYWAY. Pictures! Large pictures, so watch out!
The little one is Skylar and the older one is Kaydence.
Some sort of marsupial.
Skylar and my aunt and a bird.
Kaydence and a bird.
Both girls and birds.
Me and a bird.
And again.
I wish I had something in that photo to show the scale of the pig's fatness. He was actually fatter than the cow in the next stall.
And for those of you who don't care about the zoo, here's a picture of me and Caitlin that would mortify our fourteen year old selves:
We both admitted to each other that we expected to be kind of sad that Rent closed, even though we're both past that part of our lives, but we were surprised that we... weren't. At all. Not even a little. So when we passed the theatre later, it was Caitlin's great idea to take this picture.
Also, here are some cupcakes from Buttercup Bake Shop:
One day I will post pictures of all the cupcakes I've baked and all the ones I've eaten at various bakeries in NYC. Maybe.
