Oh god, I'm sorry. I just thought of that and literally keeled over in laughter in the middle of reading an article on NYT.com. It's just... so much some ridiculous wish-fulfillment in the writer's room. And also it was JOHN. I really wanted him to say, "It's okay, it's my first time with a lady, too." And for it to be really bad and awkward. OH MAN.
Also, someone (moonsheen?) told me that they heard that JFlan's initial idea for the episode was a McKay/Sheppard Adventure Quest of Gay (or at least McKay-Sheppard centric) and that leaves me torn. On one hand, it eliminates all of the jokes I have about how much pot JFlan smoked before he came up with this stupid-ass story. That's bad. But on the other hand, JFlan clearly sees John and Rodney's Epic Love just as well as we do. That's hilarious.
Anyway, we're leaving for CT in about two minutes, so I may see you all later. If not, I'll see you on Monday. (I'm loathing my family right now, so for the moment I'm going to tentatively say "later, for sure, omg, this hotel better have wireless.")
