WOOOOOOOO! SUPER TUESDAY! YEAH!

::cough:: I mean. Good afternoon, friends list. I hope the day is treating you well.

I voted in my FIRST PRIMARY today and I swear I danced out of the gym, that's how happy I was to have cast my vote for Barack Obama. I grinned the entire way home, then I danced some more around my living room, then I took that picture.

WOOOOOOOO! SUPER TUESDAY! YEAH!

It's so weird to still be excited by Super Tuesday. Last time, Dean was out by Super Tuesday (let's take a moment in memory of Howard Dean's candidacy, my first ever political love.) and I wasn't voting then anyway.

It's funny. I got out of the shower this morning with a list of things to do before I could vote and I was thinking about how I was more excited about voting then about Obama. I mean, I'm SUPER excited about Obama, but I was really floored by the idea of voting in my first primary. And I thought, "Well, I guess I just don't have the love for Obama that I did for Dean." And that's true, yeah, but after seeing the little 'x' next to Obama's name today, I realized that I do have almost as much love for Obama as I did for Dean. Not quite as much, but a significant amount more than I realized. I guess part of me just still feels like voting for anyone else ever is a betrayal, but... yeah.

I really need an Obama icon. I don't think it could ever be as AWESOME as the TDS Dean one that I had, but I need it anyway.

WOOOOOOO! SUPER TUESDAY! YEAH!

Okay, but really, I have a favor to ask, friendslist. I'm going to be at work tonight when the results start coming in. Is there anyone out there who can maybe text message me between six and eleven thirty as they start calling states? Please? You'd be doing both myself and saidlian_nataly a favor, as we would love to be watching CNN together, but unfortunately have to work and go to class.

HELP ME OBI-FRIENDSLIST-KENOBI, YOU'RE MY ONLY HOPE.

Never mind, Steven's going to do it! Wooooo!

(and, WOOOOOOOO! SUPER TUESDAY! YEAH!)

dean, obama, politics
