Quote from Joe Mallozzi's blog:
PG15 writes: [....] 4. How well does Joe F play the guitar?”
Answers: [....] 4. If you ask him, he’ll say “not very well”.
I don't even like JFlan, guys. I mean, I like him, but I'm not in love with him, unlike certain people I know who's ovaries explode at the sight of his forearms. But, seriously, Joe M. kind of makes me love him with his pictures and bizarre anecdotes.

Brendan's friends are over for their first night of drunken revelry. This will probably repeat every night of my parents' vacation. I don't mind it too much, it's actually kind of hilairous. They all seem sort of like light weights, or maybe they were just drunk before they came over.
Anyway, RJ, my brother's hetero-lifemate, decided not to smoke tonight and spent the first half of the night talking about terrible horror movies with me. Also, books. Also, teevee shows.
eta:
Bren: My head is killing me! I feel like Erich*.
RJ: Too soon!
Kait: Did you just make a tasteless joke about your friend's brain tumor.
Bren: Hey, if Erich were here, he'd totally appreciate that!
* Erich is one of my brother's posse. He just had brain surgery like, two days ago.

Tonight's selections are the 1993 remake of Invasion of the Body Snatchers and the 1988 remake of The Blob. Both are predictably awful. I am, however, looking forward to The Invasion, even though it's got, like, a 17% on RottenTomatoes. My movie reviewer guy loved it, but kept talking about metaphors for the war and American commercialization and all this other shit. I really just want to see a remake of Invasion of the Body Snatchers, you know?
Also, who else is TOTALLY PSYCHED for the remake of Halloween? Hands? Hands? Anyone? Besides me? And apparently RJ and JP?
Halloween is my favourite horror movie franchise. I've seen them all at least three or four times each. They're wonderful and terrible and amazing and I think this remake is going to be awesome. Or terrible. I don't think I'll mind either way.

Tonight on Psych, John Amos guest starred as Gus' uncle Burton. TWW Reunion! It made me giggle, although the show makes me giggle in general. Cute episode. You TWW people should watch it for John Amos (if you're not already watching it for Dule Hill) and the rest of you should watch it because it's adorable.
