[Meme] All the WIPs, so little time.

Jan 04, 2013 14:27

I should probably get around to posting actual fic, but! u_ub I figured I'd do this instead.

Post a single sentence from each WIP you have (or as many as you want to pick). No context, no explanations. No more than one sentence! (Okay, they're short paragraph-y things.)

1. It was an angel’s duty to stand strong and do what he was called to do and Fujigaya couldn’t do that if he kept relying on Yokoo’s unfailing nature.

2. Brushing himself off, Yara Tomoyuki couldn’t help raising an eyebrow at Fujigaya’s gear, commenting on that instead. “It’s an in-and-out job, Taipi, you only have two hands anyways.”

3. Sanada was no ace; Chura was easily larger than a car and hissing in rage. He reacted as most would when confronted by two tons of mechanical menace.

4. Kitayama reeked of death and filth and blood, both terrifying and exhilarating. The mortals couldn’t see it, but his eyes burned with hellish fire and his smile was razor sharp with malice.

5. “I have my own team,” Yara pointed out, unwilling to just go along with Takizawa’s latest scheme. He did have his own team, even if MA-X had been on hiatus for the better part of a year.

6. Fujigaya leans over the sink, heart fluttering erratically and not in a way that has anything to do with love or anticipation.

7. Yara couldn’t help but sigh, rubbing his eyes for a moment before beckoning Ryouta closer, putting the cigarette out in the nearby ashtray.

8. "Who is that with Tsubasa-chan?" Reina demanded, having stomped on Kaoru's foot to get her attention. "I've never seen him before."

9. “Kawai Fumito, you are going to be late for school,” Kawai’s mother exclaimed when he appeared in the kitchen, still half-dressed in his pajamas. “It’s your first day!” she added, clearly dismayed.

10. (Nikaido wasn't even sure why he'd want to talk to any of them anyway; he found most of his classmates to be horridly dull.)

11. Fujigaya was the first to fall beneath Yara's sword, the blade slashing through his chest. But then Yara was gone, leaping towards Kitayama.

12. Nikaido blinked, confused at the statement until, with cringe-worthy horror, he remembered exactly what he’d done with Fujigaya the last time they’d met.

13. “Ah!” Takahashi clapped his hands, eyes sparkling. “Let me guess. We're all going to get drenched in the rain and use fake blood while Yara kills us all.”

14. Iida grinned and this time Fujigaya could see it. “I guess so. Will you think about me every time you see the moon?”

15. “Shouldn’t you take him somewhere?” Machida bit his lip, glancing back at the door to Yara’s bedroom, where Yamamoto lay beyond. “On top of that, you should go see someone too, you gave me a heart attack.”

16. "You want it," Kawai laughed as soon as he stuck his head out through the door and Fujigaya could only nod, smiling abashedly, but yes, he so wanted it. "Well, c'mon, let me see."

17. It seemed so dangerous to a chain like Fujigaya, who fought tooth and nail to claim his spot as the most powerful chain in the Abyss

18. Fujigaya deftly caught Hashimoto as they plummeted to the ground, his wings practically buzzing to bring them out of the freefall. Hashimoto clutched to his arms, laughing and whooping as they sailed back towards Takizawa’s cove, to meet their returning lord.

19. “Mmm…” Tamamori pulled away from Miyata, his lips red and his cheeks flushed slightly. “I’ve got to go home, it’s nearly midnight.”

20. The android boy was organizing Yara’s files when he entered the room. Sparing him a second glance and nothing more, Yara barked over his shoulder. “Dammit, Takki, I didn’t want one!”

21. If Kitayama had just been his commander, it wouldn’t have been so bad. The loss of the man’s trust would be a blow, but Fujigaya would have been able to live with it, knowing it had been necessary.

22. Totsuka stared down at the floor for a few moments, trying to not stare at the boy himself (he was unconscious still, thank god), while he figured out what he was supposed to do with an unidentified and very naked male chained to the toilet that he still very desperately needed to use.

23. “Of course you’re not crazy,” Takizawa soothed, though truth to be told, Fujigaya’s mind was still delicate and fragmented, but that had more to do with being locked in a cellar for a very long time as opposed to Fujigaya’s friendly breezes.

24. “The Jabberwocky was made from the Moon Mountains,” Tatsumi said, his tone now taking on an urgent tone. “It is relentless and you will need to bind it quickly, or it will destroy you all.”

25. “Fuck you,” Fujigaya screamed, so livid there were tears in his eyes, choking on his anger with a harsh cry.

27. Yokoo shrugged a shoulder and then shook his head, sadly. “Maybe Taisuke doesn’t need an Uchi, Kitayama.”

28. “Yabu-kun,” a voice called out, and Yabu jolted, scrambling to his feet as General Mackey approached, sword swung casually over his shoulder.

29. Takaki coughed, blood splattering everywhere as he grasped Yamada’s hands, pulled Yamada’s sword deeper into him.

30. “Hey, hey, just because you’re stuck here while the rest of your family is off in the Caribbean doesn’t mean you can maim me.”

31. Shu hasn’t sat down yet, choosing to lean against the wall as they all sit in silence. His eyes are closed for the moment, as if to shut out the glower Kazuma sends his way or Sato’s confused staring. He is the calmest, without Kazuma’s irritation or Mifune’s ill-concealed fire.

32. “It is,” Fujigaya agreed, leaning in for a kiss. It was a mess, if only because they were both laughing. Nothing but a horrible, awful kiss and yet it got Kitayama’s heart racing, the softness of Fujigaya’s lips teasing him into action.

33. Kitayama smiled wryly, wondering what that said about Fujigaya’s opinion of him. But he was right, Yokoo would have done the right thing.

34. The shore that Ryouta stood on was not supposed to exist.

35. But there was no time to dwell on that. Goseki had already slipped off to steal access codes while the security was so lax. Tsukada had squirreled his way to where the horses were penned, subtly editing their source code.

36. Kitayama called it the stalker syndrome. Totsuka preferred to think of it as divine research.

37. Koshioka greeted Tatsumi with appreciative groan, eagerly accepting the drink, Yamamoto echoing it as he drew his own drink towards him. It was the middle of Playzone rehearsal and Tatsumi had been delegated the day’s coffee run, which Yamamoto rather liked because he knew he’d always get the drinks soonest.

38. The tamagotchi whirred to life, beeping out a happy tune. “Noisy,” Yara commented, flipping the tamagotchi over as the screen lit up. “… Dammit, Takki, what the hell is this!?”

39. The mistletoe hung everywhere during Shokura rehearsals could only be Koyama’s fault. It also could have been Takki but, as Tottsu testified later, he was too busy decorating Kakumei’s backstage to be the true culprit.

40. “I don’t know how,” Takaki said finally, looking around at all the memories, their memories, which lay shattered at their feet.

41. Miyata’s actually grateful Tamamori chose to tell him with a note, because he’s not sure what would have happened if Tamamori had broken up with him in person. Something horribly embarrassing, he’s sure, because Miyata has very little dignity to begin with and Tamamori was walking away from him.

42. Totsuka smiled gently, caressing Fujigaya’s cheek. “You will always be precious to me,” he whispered, leaning in to kiss him.

43. The first thing Kitayama realized was that Kawai and Fujigaya were wasted.

44. It’s that new guy, the one who knows Yamashita-kun and talks about soccer all the time. He quirks a smile at you and you can’t help but think it looks cocky on his face, what with his tan and wild hair, and those mischievous eyes. Kitayama-kun, that’s who it is.

45. “You can’t do that here,” Junta whispered urgently, hands clenching over Akito’s, darting a look over his shoulder to make sure no one was about. “We can’t be seen, Akito!”
