I'm actually really happy that my published wordcount went up! Of course, some of those numbers are skewed because they were actually written in 2011 and not published until 2012, but whatever.)
My favorite story this year (of my own):
This is surprisingly hard to answer! I'm actually rather pleased with a lot of my fics from 2012, but nothing instantly jumped out at me. Synthetic Heartbeat, Hearts on Fire, and Beware the Spider's Thread are among the favorites though!
My best story this year:
Hm. Dragonsex again, I think? I guess? XD I got a lot of positive feedback from that fic. I also think Starchild turned out really well, even if it's only this small piece of the Starchild!verse. Oh, and Socksfic. Socksfic was great.
Story most underappreciated by the universe, in my opinion:
To repeat from last year, but... None? I wrote them, they have been appreciated enough. *shrug*
Most fun story:
HAHA, fun story... I had great amusement with a lot of the drabbles. 'Fifteen and NothingEverything to figure out' is a cute, fun read. (These questions feel so much more awkward this year. XD;;)
Most sexy story:
./////. Uhm. Dear lord, I don't know, I don't find any of them sexy. Mad Desires was kinda kinky though, so we'll go with that one.
Story with single sexiest moment:
Hearts on Fire. Idek, okay, Fujigaya and the fire, I just find that very sexy /o\
Story with single sweetest moment:
Hmmm, there are a lot of those! I'd go with Colors and Promises. Even writing it, I felt really emotional. ;; ♥
Most unintentionally telling story:
In Pieces. There's just something about it? I don't know. x:
"Holy crap, that's wrong, even for you" story:
I don't think there's anything at this point that would surprise me or anyone else. 8X And if there is, I certainly have not written it.
Most disappointing story:
Repeat from last year, but I don't see any story as a disappointment. It's just a stepping stone. There are things that will need improvement, but there's always something I like about what I write.
Hardest story to write:
Dragonsex. Simply because it ended up way longer than it was supposed to be and thus new plot had to be created. Also, working on balancing universe with character and trying to keep a good pace, it was a challenge.
Easiest story to write:
Uhmmmmmm. This is going to be horrible, but 'Untitled' literally was written in about an hour or so while skyping with Gaia. T_T so. SLkdjflksdf sob.
This year's theme and the story that demonstrates it most:
Ohhhh. I'm not sure about that one. This was the year of the AUs. I think there was a good mix, though I guess most would say I still stray far too much into angst and death. I'm going to say what demonstrates it most is... Soliders of the Wasteland, maybe? But also 'I danced with you once upon a dream'. Two sides of the same coin, I guess.
