“Come on!” Takaki laughed, tugging on Haruma's hand. “I don't want to keep him waiting!~” He danced slightly, looking restless and excited and nervous all at once.
“I don't think he'll mind,” Haruma replied mildly, grinning in amusement. He couldn't help but find it funny that Takaki hated being late...when he himself was late to filming two days out of three.
“I know, but you'd think we could be on time for something like lunch...” Takaki grumbled as he practically dragged Haruma into the small cafe.
“Ahhh, there you are!” There was a laugh as Takaki finally located the person they'd come to meet. Yabu waved at them both from where he lounged in the corner booth. “You guys took so long I ordered stuff for you,” He indicated to the drinks and muffins sitting on the table.
Sliding in enough for Haruma to sit next to him, Takaki opened his mouth to introduce the two. Although he knew the two knew of each other, it was only polite, right? Haruma beat him to it though. “Yabu-kun! How've you been~? I haven't seen you in forever. Tell Hikaru-kun he needs to stop missing my phone calls!"
Laughing, Yabu shrugged. “Eeeeh, the usual. You know, work, work, work? And don't worry about it, Hikaru barely manages to pick up for his own mother,” He rolled his eyes, taking another sip of his latte. “How about you? Gokusen filming is wrapping up, ne?”
“Wait, wait!” Takaki broke in, staring from one boy to the other. “You two know each other?”
Looking puzzled, Haruma nodded. “Of course... He was my senpai in high school. I was in Hikaru-kun's class!”
“And you never told me!?” Takaki hissed indignantly at the two of them, trying to hide his embarrassment. He had been so excited to introduce them to each other! Now he discovered they already knew each other...
Yabu looked sheepish, shrugging a little. “I thought you knew.”
“I...ah...you!” Takaki spluttered.
Haruma laughed, draping an arm over Takaki's shoulders. “We're sooooorry, Yuuyan~,” He said in a sing-song voice before pecking him on the cheek.
“Forgive uuuuus~?” Yabu asked in a similar tone, moving to kiss the other cheek.
Takaki just blushed and sank down into his seat.
