Massive Artsy Fartsy Attack
As I mentioned in a previous blog I'm going to start uploading many of my better artsy fartsy photographs on this blog. I figured I'll start with one of my favorites.
About a year ago a close friend of mine had an abortion and it affected her pretty badly. Having never experienced a loss like that I wasn't entirely sure how to help her. I got to thinking about how to translate her loss into a photograph and came up with these two photos:
And for the sake of my sister I have to make it clear that she (my sister) is just the model, not the friend I took these for.
Many thanks to my friend Ish, who I mention in a later blog, for helping with lighting, and to Ceci for helping with the placement of the eggshells in my sisters hand.
