Justifications for Being Ridiculously Excited for the Upcoming Months

There are a lot of things coming up in the next few months that I'm incredibly excited about

First off, next weekend I'm planning on getting a tattoo. Eric's friend is a tattoo artist/skateboarder who's done a number of Eric's tattoo (including his newest one). I've been bouncing ideas around for the last few years of a Tree of Life tattoo to represent my (however minimal) spiritual beliefs, and a peacock feather for my sister Christine. Let me quickly break down the story of the peacock feather:
In ninth grade, I won a pen on a lanyard from my french teacher. Eventually the lanyard started to come undone, so I braided it and Christine wrapped it around her wrist and tied it. That damned lanyard did not fall off throughout all four years of high school. Christine and I agreed we'd get matching tattoos of a little green lanyard, but when she got hers it evolved into a peacock feather

I digress, this is the not the tattoo I plan on getting next weekend

this one is.

Last week, I took a picture of an Om that I had drawn on my left middle finger. I've read that the middle finger symbolizes inspiration and identity; the Om (representing more of my spiritual beliefs) fits well there. The placement is kind of breaking a cardinal rule of not tattooing below the elbow, but it would be easy to hide under a ring if there ever came a situation in where I needed to hide it. This will be my second tattoo.

On the 18th of this month, my cousin is finally moving out. The dogs are out of the house, and over at his new place in Palmdale. I'm hoping that he's taking this time to clean up the MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF DOG POO THAT IS EVERYWHERE. Soon as he's out, though, we'll be able to start working on it.

At the end of this month The Hunger Games comes out. I plan on rereading the book the week prior to the release of the film, against my better judgement. It's one of those books that the moment I finish, I want to begin rereading all over. I've been holding off on rereading it (a third time) for about a year now. The release of the movie seemed an appropriate excuse to justify rereading it again.

After that it'll be only a little over a week until my birthday, and the trip to Florida with Eric!

A month later, I'll be in Cancun with my momma at the Grand Park Royal Cancun Caribe Resort. We had gotten a tour of this hotel during my first trip to Cancun, but only ever stayed at the Barcelo Costa (which is cute, but kind of meh). The Grand Park is faaaaancy
