I just saw a picture of the new assassin for Assasssins Creed 2 and all I can say is between him and Altair "Why was I not born a dude?!?" Seriously... awesome cosplay potential there. I go rabid over the details on their character designs. Why? Why? Why? *sigh* I never did see a really kick ass Altair in person... *grumble grumble*
Last week was very low key for me. I needed a calm week after the hell I went through the week before (between the death of the lizard and agonizing over cars... which I might add, was more stress and freaking out over than really anything I've ever decided on). I spent most of last week working on my maid costume and watching random tv. I have mixed feelings on the maid, my interest in helping the con is quickly diminishing... and while I won't back out of being staff for this year, I will not join back up for next year. I don't like wasting time on stuff that then doesn't get used or asked opinions that apparently don't matter. I don't really mesh with the group either.
My cosplay ADD is already setting in with the maid... I want to be working on something more interesting.
I've decided since I'll be reusing Amy Sorel this year, that I really want to make her sword awesome. I plan to go all out with fiber-glassing it. I want something that looks sweet enough to hang on a wall. Since its a rapier, it shouldn't be too bulky for travel. The sword, the wig and taking in the corset is all I have to do on that costume. It's kind of a shame I don't really have any fun accessories and bits I need to be working on, that's really what I want to be doing.
