Nebraskon-ing
Tomorrow starts Anime Nebraskon in Lincoln. I'm a bit nervous, its the first anime con that I'll be going alone. So scary! (I'm more worried about finding my way back out of Lincoln than anything else... I seem to recall the signage for the interstate pretty sneaky and that I miss it.)
I'm ready to pull my hair out from working on my Amy Sorel wig. I probably shouldn't do that, since my back up option is to style my own hair. If all goes well, I plan to wear her for the costume contest on Saturday. I still haven't decided whether I'm making the trip tomorrow to the con... if I do, I plan to wear my WIP Steampunk. I wish it was further along but there's a lot of time consuming mini projects to do for it. Sunday I'll be working the Otaku Omaha booth in the dealer room. If I wear Steampunk on Friday, I'll wear Fox on Sunday. I'm not sure which I'll wear if I don't wear Steampunk friday. (I know one of the staffers had a high dislike of furries and while I don't consider myself a furry, I'd really just prefer not to have to deal with some close minded person.)
In some ways, I can't wait for this weekend to be over. I've really wanted to just veg out and play video games on the new tv I bought but I haven't had time to even set up the xBox 360 in my room.
